Do you remember this Kimba inspired wreath from a few years ago? I’ve enjoyed using it every year since I made it. It is covered in glitter that looks like sugar, but you can’t really tell it in the photo. Usually I use this wreath on my screened porch. The vases were Granny's and the other pieces are from antique stores.
I may add some twigs or faux spring florals to the vases next weekend.
The ribbon hanging from the crown molding camouflages multiple hangers. Quite a few things have hung over my fireplace over the years and it seems that each required a hanger in a slightly different spot.
It’s so nice to change decorations with the season. After looking at snowflakes for three months, I’m ready for spring décor. What about you? Have you decorated for spring or are you like me and are in the process?
I'm sharing with Metamorphosis Monday at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch and Beth's Spring Mantel Party.

Looks really nice, Paula!
ReplyDeletePaula, I do remember that wreath and how much I love it. I started moving winter out today too but didn't get to my mantel yet, your's looks great as always.
ReplyDeletePaula this mantel says *spring*. The yellow wreath is so pretty and I adore the fabric. Beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your mantel, so simple and fresh! I do love that wreath as well, love the color!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance (energy) to change out my mantle yet. My Christmas Angels are still up :-(
I did remove the red ribbons around their necks and replaced them with pink for Valentines day and was thinking of just changing them out yet again for Spring with Eastery colors but I'm loving your wreath so much I might try something new this spring! Thanks for the inspiration!
Your mantel looks great! I love the pop of color that the wreath provides.
ReplyDeleteLove that wreath and how the yellow just brightens everything up. I did my spring mantel a few weeks ago, but I'm in that "forever tweaking" stage.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great, Paula. The wreath is pretty and I love white the vases too. Is that fabric around a frame on each side of the wreath? LOOOOOOVE IT! What a beautiful print!
ReplyDeletePretty, Paula! That bright shot of yellow is very cheery!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done any spring decorating yet, and since I woke up to 3" of snow it just doesn't feel like it yet. :(
Your mantel is so pretty Paula! I love the color of the wreath against the rest of your decor. Hope you had a great weekend!
