Beach Reads

Mr. SP and I leave for the beach on Thursday. Mama and some other family members are already there, but we had to wait to leave because I'm taking a class for school Monday through Wednesday of this week.

I treated myself to three new books for the beach. I can't wait to sit on Mama's covered porch in an Adirondack chair with a glass of Lemonaid and read to my heart's content.

I'll be reading...

I read Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand on my Chicago trip and really liked it. I've also read Hilerbrand's The Beach Club, Nantucket Nights, and Summer People. I have not read anything by Linda Frances Lee or Katie Crouch. I hope that these books are good!

  3. Junior League was awesome!! You will love it. Her second book set in Willow Creek, TX - The Ex-Debutante was great, too.

  7. I've read all three. I loved the Devil In The Jr League. I never quite got into Girls In Trucks and I just finished A Summer Affair and I liked it but didn't love it. I just started Queen Takes King and am looking for something to read after that. I love summer!

  8. The Devil in the Jr League was a fun summer read. I just finished reading Mating Rituals of the North American WASP and that was fun too!

    Enjoy your beach vacation.
