Merry Christmas!

This is the first Christmas in a long time that we’ve had with snow on the ground.  Virginia had a gigantic snow storm while we were in Vermont and we missed all of the excitement.  Christmas Day here brings freezing rain instead of snow.

We had a very nice Christmas Eve dinner here last night with my mom and Mr. SP’s dad.  We’ll go over to his house in a bit to visit and then the three of us will drive to my mom’s for the day.  Tomorrow we’ll go to Richmond to visit with some other family members.

Enjoy the day with your family!

I’ll share some of my Christmas post cards that were given to me by my grandmother.  These belonged to two of her aunts and are about 100 years old.  I love the detail and designs.

  1. Paula, the postcards from family are priceless. I have one Valentine postcard from the 20's that belonged to an uncle that I had framed. I wanted to protect it yet we cannot see the message.

    Have a great Christmas weekend!
