It actually looked really pretty until just recently when the Pineapple Lily took a turn for the worst.
Last weekend I decided to spruce up this arrangement with dried material that I had on hand: Hydrangea, Garlic, and Sedum.
I tried my best to make sure that it looked good from all angles. I think I like this angle the best.
I’m happy to have this updated arrangement in my living room. I wonder if my party guests will notice it this Saturday? (I’m betting not!)
Do your friends notice things in your house? I certainly do when I visit someone.

Don't you love picking dried things from outside - I do it all the time.
My friend Sharon notices everything as does my niece Heather. Other than those two nothing from the rest of them. They just aren't "into" decorating.

Oh, it's lovely!!! I do notice stuff like that and at the same time I pray no one notices the dog hair on my kitchen floor. ;)

ReplyDeleteI notice pretty decorative stuff, but I don't notice if they have a little dust on their mantle.
The colors, texture and shape in the flowers really set off the vase. Very artisitc feel.
