These will be filled with chocolates and given to a few family members and to some special friends at school.
I predict that they will be a hit!
Stacy’s tutorial calls for gluing wire in between two layers of ribbon and using that for a handle. I didn’t have any narrow ribbon, only wide ribbon, and the glue wouldn’t stick, so I crafted handles without wire. My handles are held on by hot glue.
The only thing I had to purchase for this project were peat pots and after completing it, I noticed that I had plenty of peat pots on my workbench. Oh well. I bought mine at my local feed and seed. The small size were $.06 each and the large size were $.12 each. The ribbon I used is leftover from two wreaths I crafted for Easter in the 90’s. I’m glad I saved it. Stacy generously provided the graphic that I glued to each basket on her blog.
All my baskets need now is candy!
I can’t wait to hand these out! Thanks to Stacy for the inspiration.
I’m sharing with Susan’s Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch and with Beth's Tutorials and Tips Tuesday at The Stories of A to Z.
