Tea Cart Makeover

A month ago I rescued a tea cart destined for the dump.  It was in good shape, it just needed a face lift.  I thought and thought about what colors I might want to use for paint, but ended up keeping the same color scheme.

I started by thoroughly cleaning the piece.  Next I used some gold tinted Rub N Buff to polish the legs and then painted the top with a few coats of gloss black paint.  My tea now looks like a retro gem!

This tea cart will definitely be used for entertaining but for the time being holds three plants on our porch.

I’ so glad that I was able to rescue this from the dump!

I’m sharing with Susan’s Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch and with Rhoda’s Thrifty Treasures and Southern Hospitality.
