Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality is reviving her weekly Today’s Thrifty Treasures party now that it is spring. It’s so much fun to see what treasures have recently been found.
I collect old planters. I found two this weekend at an antique shop and paid $10.50 for both. One was even on sale.
I bought a yellow one like this green one last year at the DVA.
I love to group my planters by color so I had to add this white one to my collection.
Next weekend after I get home from the beach, I want to do a few displays around my house with my planters. My house is stuck in winter mode and it’s time to switch to spring.
This group is just waiting to come out of the basement and be put on display.
What did you find this weekend?
What a great collection! They'll make a fabulous display

ReplyDeleteQuestion! do you plant your flowers in there or do you leave them in their pot? how does the water drain? know what I mean?

ReplyDeleteGreat finds Paula!
ReplyDeletePaula! What a beautiful collection! I love them! Your new green one is really spectacular. You don't even need plants in these planters. They are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePaula, that was fun for me to see yuor old containers! I'm sure we were "fighting" over some of these in Geneva! :) :) You have some really fun ones.
ReplyDeleteI love the square and retangle ones to hold stationary on my desk. The taller ones are great for pens and pencils too. What a great, versatile collection you have.
