My friend gave me this beautiful silver bowl for my birthday. It’s actually a trophy from our club, probably won long ago in a golf tournament. My friend found it at a local estate store.
Crafting the centerpiece was easy. I stacked up some oasis and covered it with a scrap of blue fabric. If you look closely you can see that it’s the same fabric that I used to make the stripes of the flag for the table runner.
I cut a tiny slit into the fabric where I wanted to insert each flag.
This cheerful patriotic display looks great in my kitchen and makes me happy each time that I see it.
The 4th will be here before we know it!
