On My Table

Flowers on the table are a simple pleasure that I enjoy.  It's been so hot this summer that I haven't done many arrangements for the house.  I've found that simple and easy is what works best for me.

Petunias look bright and cheerful.  I doubt that these will last long!

Last week I had Crepe Myrtle berries in the vases.

Aren't the berries pretty?  I hoped that they would dry so that I could use them later on a wreath, but they didn't.

Now that I'm back to work and busier than ever, a simple touch like flowers on the table is appreciated more than ever.  I'm going to try to keep something pretty in these vases until it is time to do something different for fall.

  1. That's funny- I also tried drying the crepes and it didn't work. I should do a little research on that...

  2. I really love the milk glass vases! So sweet! My table is round, and I'm trying to think of a way to copy your idea! Love it!

I agree with you about having a little bit of fresh something on the table. It makes everything look prettier.

  4. Love the vases! So pretty! I love fresh flowers too, but I NEVER have any. One of these days I'll do that.
